Which Foods to buy Organic

Sometimes it's worth it to spend more on organic if your concerned about pesticides and fungicides. Here's a list of grocery items I recommend buying organic.
  • Apples
  • Celery
  • Strawberries
  • Peaches
  • Spinach
  • Nectarines
  • Grapes
  • Bell Peppers
  • Potatoes (that's why I only buy them in season too)
  • Lettuce
  • Blueberries
  • Kale

If it's not too much more and especially if it's local produce from the farmers market, I will prefer organic on most items but the above list is a good starting point. It's a good idea to wash produce with a little dish soap organic or not.
