Strength Exercise of the week #3: Tricep Dips

Toning arms with a weight bearing dip exercise is a great way to add some upper body strength.  This exercise has tons of variations that can make it easy to very challenging.  All the way from a bent knee dip, straight leg dip on a bench behind you and then all the way up to a dip using elevated bars where you lean forward and integrate lower pec strengthening by bending forward during the dip.  
 
As with any new exercise don’t go to failure until you have at least 6 weeks of doing it 2x’s/week under your belt.  Then start pushing yourself with more difficult variations and to the point of failure (you try but you can’t quite finish that last one!)
