How is future disabling arthritis similar to other diseases like heart disease and cancer?

A) It starts with no pain at all

B) by the time you feel it, its often quite advanced and difficult to treat

For many health problems, prevention is definitely the best medicine. Many of the most dangerous and disabling diseases progress without any pain whatsoever!  The start of heart disease, cancer and osteoarthritis to name just a few are completely painless.  By the time you “feel” a heart attack - it’s way too late!  By the time you feel arthritis it’s quite advanced and is also irreversible. Thats why we do such a thorough exam.  We want to identify your future weak links in health to help them from affecting you later.
